All Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council operated car parks and on street pay and display parking bays across the borough are now free for motorists after 1pm every day from Tuesday 6th November.  Parking charges still apply during 8am - 1pm. Normal charges will resume on Monday 7th January 2019.

However, it is stressed the free parking only applies to RCBC operated car parks and bays, not privately run ones.
